This webpage is a work in progress.  It will become more helpful over time as  the different areas are addressed. It is a new program so there will be errors until all the bugs are worked out. Thank you for your patience.

Please note that homework for each day is in the PRACTICE section.  CLASSROOM RESOURCES includes most of the worksheets and labs needed each day. They are not in order of date so you will have to scan through to find them or click on modified to align the date. There is more than one page of resources.

There are POWERPOINTS on most of the information that we cover in class. Please see the section called Classroom Resources under PracticeThey are a great way to review the information.

   HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER!

I HAVE ADDED SOME PAGES TO THE RESOURCE SECTION. THE WORKSHEETS FOR THE CURRENT CHAPTER ARE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING IF YOU ARE OUT SICK OR  LEFT THEM IN SCHOOL.

See below for "Reminders and Expectations".

JUST A REMINDER:
STUDENTS WHO DO NOT PASS AN ASSESSMENT MUST STAY AND RETAKE THE ASSESSMENT.    STUDENTS WILL FILL OUT A RETAKE FORM AND REVIEW THE INFORMATION BEFORE RETAKING ASSESSMENTS.
THEY SHOULD ALSO STUDY OR COME FOR EXTRA HELP AS NEEDED BEFORE RETAKING THE ASSESSMENT. THESE SHOULD BE TAKEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

EXPECTATIONS

The students keep notebooks of all the work that we do in each unit.  At the beginning of each class they are to update their table of contents. All papers, notes, organizers, and assessments are to be dated and in the correct order.   Students should  have all papers in the notebook.  A table of contents goes at the start of the notebook.  You can review your child’s work by having them bring home the notebook for you to look through.  This will give you a better idea of the work your child is doing in each unit.

Students must have their name, date, and period on all papers.    Students must  complete all homework as it is practice and reinforcement of concepts.  Students who are ill will have time to make up assignments as needed.  Students should make up all missed assessments as soon as possible. It is the responsibility of the student to find out what they have missed when they are absent and make it up in a timely manner.  Major assessments are announced in advance.

If your printer suddenly stops printing the day an assignment is due, please attach the word document in an email and send it to my email. Students can also use the library computers to print any reports.  If the student brings in the assignment on a flash drive they can use the library computers to print out the assignment.  This should be done during homeroom if possible.

Please remind your child to do a test print run on the computer before the assignment is due to avoid last minute stress.

Students must come to class with highlighters, pens (blue orblack and red or green), paper, and pencils and not have to borrow them from other students.

We use calculators in science so students should bring them to class.

Students are expected to hand in work on time and ask for help when needed and to come to class with all the needed materials and their homework.  Students should not wait until the last moment to ask for help.  I am available most afternoons until 2:55.  Students should check with me in the morning to confirm that they may stay for help.  Please call or e-mail if you have any questions.
Students who do not have homework or need extra help will stay after school or miss have a lunch detention.
