ART CLUB
Art club provides students with the opportunity to improve their skills in the areas of drawing, painting, and sculpture. Both individual and group projects help create an atmosphere in which students can take charge of their own learning together. Students are encouraged to try new things and experiment with many materials that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn about. Club is a mini artists' community where students with similar interests can gather and enjoy learning in the area of visual arts.

One example of this is our participation in the We are the Children program, a Christmas event run by Gary Craig and 96.5TIC FM. T.M.S. NEWS AND MEDIA CLUB
The TMS News & Media Club meet once a week on Tuesdays, from 2:30-4:00, in the Library Media Center. The purpose of this club is to create a multimedia student news organization that will report on the great things going on at TMS. Students involved in the program will have the opportunity to write about school events and learn how to use camcorders and digital cameras to capture the action. The club will work as a team to collect information and report on the school’s events. As multimedia projects are completed, they will be posted on the TMS News Wiki. The web address for the wiki is: TMSNews.wikispaces.com.
All students are expected to follow the Acceptable Use Policy for Technology set forth in the student handbook.
Due to the nature of the club, there may be days when students may choose to stay after school to interview students in other clubs or document school events. Students are required to follow the Student After-school Policy and obtain permission from a parent and the school.
